Wine Director Brahm Callahan has comprised an impressive list representing all regions of the world. The wine list at Excelsior continues to earn critical acclaim with local and national aficionados, including Zagat Survey's Winning Wine Lists, Wine Spectator’s Best of-Award of Excellence, Food & Wine Magazine’s Top 10 New Wine Lists, and Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston-Best Wine List. This remarkable collection is showcased in a climate controlled 3-story glass wine tower located in the center of the restaurant.
Design
Enter Excelsior...the first floor bar is sleek and welcoming, the best spot in Boston to enjoy cocktails and even a bite. If you are joining us for dinner, we welcome you to take a ride in the all glass elevator through the 3 story wine tower to Excelsior’s dining room. The timeless quality of this outstanding space overlooking the Boston Public Garden was the starting point for architect Adam Tihany. Tihany designed Excelsior to be a special restaurant, the likes of which Boston has never seen. Considered the pre-eminent restaurant designer in the world today, Tihany also designed famed Aureole in Las Vegas and Thomas Keller's Per Se at Time Warner Center in New York.

Formed in 1983, American Food Management is the owner and operator of three of Boston's premier restaurants.
