The bar at Excelsior is one of Boston’s most stylish lounges.  Warm mahogany and Jerusalem leather walls, custom Italian hand-blown burnt orange lamps and a brushed steel bar add to the excitement and vitality brought to life in our cocktails and cuisine.  Excelsior is recognized annually by The Improper Bostonian and Boston’s CitySearch for being among the most popular and having the best bar menu and cocktails in the city.

Our cocktail list features signature martinis, as well as the newest and most popular spirits.  Exclesior's creative bartenders are known citywide for using inventive ingredients such as house-made ginger-infused vodka, cucumber, mint and basil, fresh fruit purées and yet-to-be-discovered combinations.  Chef Eric Brennan's Café Menu was created expressly with bar dining in mind.  This menu offers hearty yet lighter fare than the dining room, making the bar a popular dining destination as well.
