Dining Room



Travel from the first floor bar up the glass elevator to Excelsior’s dining room.  Located on the second level of the restaurant, you will enjoy breathtaking views of Boston’s Public Garden and famous Swan Boats.  The dining room is colorful, contemporary and warm.  A bold mix of color and texture, leather and wood, deep blues, dashes of red, orange, and gold; all setting the perfect stage for a delightful evening of delicious food and wine.  The dining room and private dining room at Excelsior is comfortable for celebrations, business dining and more intimate gatherings.  

The menu offers a variety of globally influenced cuisine with an emphasis on local product; including prime sirloin steak, lamb, and Kurobuta pork.  Seafood dishes range from rich Maine lobster tail to lighter options, such as salmon and striped bass.  Excelsior has a variety of appetizers and salads as well as an extensive raw bar including a variety of seasonal sashimi, tartares and ceviches.  Pastry Chef Molly Hanson’s desserts are inspired by the seasons favorite fruits and flavors.
